32 JOBS CREATED BY NEW LISBURN LEISURE FACILITY

August 2015 - The Lisburn Advertiser

Thirty-two jobs have been created with the opening of a new leisure facility in Lisburn. Lisburn Bowl, which has been developed in a £2.5 million investment supported by Ulster Bank, includes an 18-lane bowling alley, games areas, and a food and drink offering, situated at Lisburn Leisure Park.

Joe Tumelty of Lisburn Bowl Limited says that it will be an excellent complement to the leisure park's existing tenants. “Lisburn Leisure Park is one of the Northern Ireland’s most popular leisure facilities, and an 18-lane bowling alley will add another important dimension to the offering and attract even more visitors,” he says.

“We have been working on the project for three years and would like to thank Ulster Bank for their support and Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council for their cooperation, particularly the Corporate and Leisure Services Departments and a number of Councillors who helped the project” he adds.

Ulster Bank Relationship Director, Gordon Davidson, says that the bank was pleased to support the investment in the hospitality and leisure sector in the area.
“Ulster Bank has £1.5 billion to lend to businesses this year and is pleased to play an important role in helping local entrepreneurs to invest in Lisburn, create jobs, and contribute to the development of the leisure offering in the area,” he adds.
