Miss Tipsy Bird and Miss Belfast crowned at the first Insanity Tan Miss Northern Ireland Heat.

A bevvy of beauties descended upon Belfast as the first local heat of the Insanity Tan Miss Northern Ireland contest came to The Tipsy Bird on Thursday 8th March. Girls from across the country competed for their place at the Miss Northern Ireland final in front of an astute judging panel which included model agent Alison Clarke, Assistant Manager of The Tipsy Bird, Ann Marie, make-up sponsor Paddy McGurgan of Make Up Pro Store, new fashion sponsor Rosie Farrell from Rosie's Closet, Northern Bureau Chief of The Sunday World, Richard Sullivan, current Miss Northern Ireland Anna Henry,former Miss Northern Ireland, Meagan Green, and Gerry McBride & Joe McGlinchey , joint MD’s of Bronze Direct and producers of Insanity Tan.

Lucy Spratt from East Belfast was crowned “Miss Tipsy Bird” and Isobel Meharg from Helen's Bay was chosen as “Miss Belfast”. Both girls will now go forward to the grand final in Belfast’s Europa Hotel on 28th May and stand a chance of winning the coveted title of ‘Insanity Tan Miss Northern Ireland 2018.’

It was the perfect venue to begin the search this year and a brilliant night was had by all. Belfast never disappoints with the calibre of girls who enter, and once again it was a fabulous night.
